Colin McRae Rally 2.0 invites you to participate in the World Rally Championship. The game features the 2000 season with licensed drivers, tracks and cars. The sequel differs from the first part with improved graphics, changed controls, redesigned menus and advanced car customization. A more believable damage system has appeared. Now the bodies of wheelbarrows are fully beating, glass is cracking and flying out. Also, the developers pumped physics. The artificial intelligence of bots has also been reworked. Compared to the original, the sequel feels more realistic.
For casual and hardcore gamers, Colin McRae Rally 2.0 has two modes – arcade and rally, respectively. Also available 3 levels of difficulty: beginner, amateur, expert. In addition to the single, there is multiplayer, including via LAN. Races are held in 8 countries: Kenya, France, Great Britain, Sweden, Finland, Australia, Greece, Italy. Initially, only one stage and 6 cars are available. All the restContent unlocks as you progress. Cars behave differently on different road surfaces. In total, this project has 80 routes and 13 vehicles.
There are several modes in the rally simulator:
- Single Race , where you can choose a track and a car;
- Time Trial – almost the same, but it’s already a race against time;
- Challenge – a duel with another driver;
- Championship – an analogue of a career where you need to win a tournament.
- Network – trips with live opponents on the network.
